How to delete your Calmquit account

You can delete your account and its data at any time, from the app or by email. Calmquit is run by Lucero Studio, who is responsible for your data.

In the app

• Open Calmquit and tap the settings button at the top of the screen to open Profile.
• Choose Delete account, then Delete to confirm.

By email

If you cannot sign in, write to support@calmquit.com from the email address of your account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours. We delete it within one month and tell you when it is done.

What is deleted

• Your account and profile, and the record of your consent.
• Your quit plan: what you use and how much, what it costs, your reasons, your country, your reminder settings and your quit days.
• Your journal: your check-ins, and the cravings and slips you logged, with their notes.
• Your course progress: the lessons you read and your answers to their questions.
• Your chat with Noa, and the copies of the replies you reported.
• Everything else stored under your account, such as feedback you sent from the app, message counts and devices.
• The reminders Calmquit set on the device where you delete your account are cancelled.
• If you signed in with Apple and delete your account in the iPhone or iPad app, Calmquit's access to your Apple ID is revoked. If you delete it on Android, remove Calmquit yourself: on an iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Sign in with Apple, choose Calmquit and stop using your Apple ID with it (or do the same at account.apple.com).

What we keep

• Copies in our database provider's daily backups: for up to 7 days.
• Usage data (the events the app sent while usage data was shared, and the profile our analytics provider, PostHog, keeps for them): for up to 7 years, the retention period of our PostHog plan (PostHog's retention periods). It carries your account's random identifier and what you did in the app, such as the products you use or a craving logged, never your email, your name or anything you wrote. To have it deleted too, write to us.
• Crash and error reports in our error reporting service, Sentry: for at most 90 days (Sentry's retention periods).
• The details OpenRouter, which connects Calmquit to the AI model, keeps about each request (such as its time and the model), without the messages or replies.
• Apple's and Google's own records of your purchase of Calmquit, under their policies.
• Records the law requires us to keep, for as long as it requires.

Delete only some of your data

You can also delete parts of your data and keep your account:

• A check-in, a craving or a slip: on Progress, open Journal, tap the entry, choose Delete check-in, Delete or Delete slip, and confirm. Your counters are worked out again without it.
• Your messages with Noa: in the chat with Noa, choose Start over at the top and confirm. Your quit plan and progress stay. A reply you reported stays with your report until you delete your account.

Your purchase

Your purchase of Calmquit stays with the App Store or Google Play account that made it. Deleting your Calmquit account does not refund it: refunds follow Apple's and Google's rules.
